PREMIUM QUALITY MEAT
Marigold Cattle Ranch is a small ranch in the Piney Woods of East Texas. We take pride in raising grass fed grain finished calves. We do not use any growth hormones or steroids. We also raise heifer calves for sale.
We have Angus and Angus / Beefmaster breeds.
PASTURE -TO-PLATE
Our calves raised for beef stay with their mommas for 7-8 months before they are weened. Once the calves reach approximately 800 lbs they are given a supplemental grain mixed with corn in order to add just the right amount of fat for the perfect marbling of the meat. Our calves reach approximately 1000-1100 lbs prior to being processed.
WE SELL HEIFERS
We raise heifer calves weened and wormed. They are exposed after they are at least one year old to an Angus or Beefmaster bull. We like to sell them in groups of 5 or more. Prices vary on the quality and current market conditions.
